The Vision
The vision is simple. Construct a three-year capital campaign that will excite and challenge congregations and individuals to sow financially into the “common-wealth” of the region and reap a harvest of blessings through the revitalization and expansion of the Region and beyond. Its mission reaffirms the Region’s vision as a covenant community at Christ’s welcoming table where “God embraces all, mends our brokenness, feeds our hungers, and nurtures our faith. God welcomes us and then sends us to serve in Christ’s name.”
The Campaign
Usher-in the “Opening Doors” Regional Capital Campaign.
The “Opening Doors” campaign was formed by a group of regional leaders with input from members across the life of the Christian Church in Pennsylvania.
The goals of the campaign enlist the gifts and support of all who believe they are called to participate. The result will have a trickle-down effect for the entire region.
The Goals
In order to live into the vision which the region believes God calls them, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Pennsylvania established a campaign goal of $775,000, which is both challenging and achievable. The breakout of the goal and the participants in the campaign are listed below.
